About Humidorist

Humidorist is an independent cigar education site. We help people learn cigars from the ground up — how to cut, light, smoke, and store them — and we test and recommend the gear that makes the hobby better. Everything here is built to answer a real question you searched for.

How we research

We research every guide before we write it. We start from primary sources — official government and public-health pages for legal and health topics, and manufacturer information plus hands-on use for product guides. Our health and legal pages reflect mainstream public-health and regulatory consensus, and we tell you when rules can change and where to verify them.

Our editorial standards

• Accuracy first. We do not invent statistics, prices, or test results. When a number varies, we say so.
• Independence. Affiliate links never change our recommendations. We recommend gear on merit, not commission.
• Clarity. We write in plain language so a first-time smoker can follow along, and we keep guides current.
