Quai d'Orsay Concordia 2026: Price, Specs and Availability
The Quai d'Orsay Concordia Edición Limitada 2026 is a 50 ring gauge by 145 mm parejo, factory name Preciosos, sold in a box of 20 at a recommended retail price of €914. Habanos, S.A. presented it at a Madrid event on 24 October 2026 as the second Limited Edition in the history of the Quai D'Orsay brand. It is a Cuban cigar, so residents of the United States (US) cannot legally import it.
At Humidorist, we have not smoked the Concordia, so the tasting notes below are Habanos' description and not our own.

Where you can buy it is the open question. The Habanos announcement gives no on-sale date and lists no countries or retailers. Habanos sells its brands through a distribution network in more than 130 territories, but the announcement does not say which of them will receive the Concordia.
If you live or travel outside the US, our guide on where to buy Cuban cigars abroad covers how to shop for a Cuban box. Those cigars still cannot be legally brought into the US.
Blend and Ageing of the Quai d'Orsay Concordia
The Concordia uses long-filler tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Río, rolled totally by hand. Habanos does not name the leaf varieties used for the wrapper, binder or filler.
Habanos follows its Limited Edition tradition here. All three parts of the cigar (wrapper, binder and filler) get an extra ageing of at least two years. The wrapper also goes through an extended fermentation.
That wrapper treatment changes how the cigar looks. Habanos says it gives a deeper, darker colour and an oily texture. It contrasts that with the lighter tones traditionally associated with Quai D'Orsay.
Juan Girón, Communications Director at Tabacalera, described the cigar: "It is a smooth cigar, but not overly so, presented in boxes of 20, featuring subtle notes reminiscent of cedar and toasted hazelnut." He also confirmed that the filler, wrapper and binder were all aged for at least two years.
Habanos' Tasting Notes by Third
Habanos publishes a full flavour walk-through for the Concordia:
- Before lighting: cedar and toasted hazelnut.
- Once lit: subtle cocoa with a delicate floral note.
- First third: creamy, dense smoke with gentle sweetness and hints of nuts.
- Second third: woody notes and a subtle touch of citrus alongside the mild strength.
- Final third: leather and dark chocolate, with a compact, light-coloured ash.
Habanos puts the smoking time at 45 to 50 minutes.
Strength Labels on the Habanos Page
Habanos describes the Concordia's strength three different ways on one page. The headline summary calls it the brand's "mild-strength blend." The body text says it "preserves the medium strength and balanced flavour profile that define the Quai D'Orsay brand." The product details table lists "Strength: Light."
We are not picking one of those labels, because the maker has not. What all three share is that none of them goes above medium.
For your decision, read it this way. If you want a full-strength cigar, none of Habanos' own labels put the Concordia there. If you prefer lighter smokes, all three labels point toward your range.
Price per Cigar and What the €914 Leaves Out
The €914 recommended retail price works out to €45.70 per cigar, based on €914 divided by 20 cigars. Habanos lists the price in the product details for the box of 20.
The price comes with gaps. The Habanos page does not say:
- which market the €914 applies to;
- whether the €914 includes tax;
- any price in dollars or pounds.
No US price exists. If you are quoted a price abroad, ask the shop whether tax is included before you compare it with the €914 figure.

The Madrid Premiere at Las Ventas
Habanos held the world premiere on 24 October 2026 in Madrid, at an event called "La Nuit D'Orsay" in the Las Ventas bullring. Club Pasión Habanos organised the night, which drew more than 400 guests. The theme was the Parisian Belle Époque.
Habanos describes the evening as the international unveiling of the brand's second Limited Edition. Guests were served pairings that included The Dalmore, Havana Club Unión and Ximénez-Spínola. Soraya Arnelas performed.
History of Quai D'Orsay and Its Limited Editions
Quai D'Orsay was established in 1974, and Habanos describes the brand as synonymous with French culture and elegance. It began at the initiative of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, then France's Minister of Finance. Habanos says it was conceived as a refined diplomatic gift to complement France's luxury portfolio.
The Concordia takes its name from the Place de la Concorde in Paris. It is the brand's second Limited Edition, after the Quai D'Orsay Senadores Limited Edition 2019, seven years earlier.
US Availability and the Import Ban
US residents cannot legally import the Concordia, because Cuban cigars cannot be brought into the US. Our guide on why Cuban cigars are illegal explains the rules.
The same rule applies to our sibling launch page, the Cohiba Talismán, another Habanos launch. If you are in the US, our fall and holiday 2026 limited cigar releases shortlist and our Cohiba cigar alternatives are other places to look.
If you shop outside the US, our best Cuban cigar brands guide covers other Cuban brands to consider alongside Quai D'Orsay.
Who the Quai d'Orsay Concordia Suits and What Would Change Our Answer
The Concordia fits a smoker outside the US who wants a cigar Habanos labels at or below medium strength. It also fits someone with 45 to 50 minutes for one cigar who is ready to buy a full box of 20 at a recommended €914.
It does not fit three kinds of buyers:
- US residents, who cannot legally import it. Look at the releases linked in the section above.
- Anyone wanting a single cigar or a small pack, because the Habanos announcement describes only the box of 20.
- Smokers who want a full-strength cigar, since none of Habanos' three strength labels go above medium.
Several published facts would change this page's answer:
- An independent review or rating would let us say how the Concordia smokes beyond Habanos' description.
- An on-sale date and a list of markets would tell buyers outside the US when and where to look.
- A statement on tax and market for the €914 would make price comparisons abroad reliable.
- A single, consistent strength rating from Habanos would settle the mild, medium or light question.
- Named leaf varieties would make the blend easier to compare with other Quai D'Orsay cigars.
Our Takeaway
The Quai d'Orsay Concordia Edición Limitada 2026 is a 50 x 145 mm Preciosos, aged at least two extra years, sold in boxes of 20 at a recommended €914, or €45.70 a cigar. That summary rests only on what Habanos reports, since we have no tasting and no review score of our own. If you are in the US, the answer to "can I buy it" is no. If you are abroad, the answer depends on an on-sale date and market list that Habanos has not yet published. Once you have a box, log it in the free Humidor Tracker.
